Alhaji Aminu Masari first port of call was Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic,.where he inspected a special High Impact tertiary education trust fund project.
Governor Aminu Masari who was accompanied by the immediate past special Adviser on Higher Education, Alhaji Bashir Usman Ruwan Godiya and the Rector of the institution inspected the skills Acquisition Centre constructed by TETFUND.
The Governor also inspected the 2014/2015/2016 merged two storey buildings constructed by TETFUND in the institution.
Alhaji Aminu Masari later proceeded to inspect the ongoing construction of Darma Rice Mill Project being privately owned by a katsina based business mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal.
While at the Mill, Governor Aminu Masari was conducted round by the project Manager, Alhaji Nura Mangal in company of two Indian based Engineers, Mr Harish Manaine and Mr Bijal Patel.
Mr Harish Manaine told Governor Masari that upon completion, the Mill would process 32 metric tonnes of Rice per hour.
In a nutshell, the site Engineer explained that the Mill had the capacity to process 253,000 metric tonnes of Rice per annum.
The proprietor of the Mill, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal told the visiting Governor and his entourage that the plan was to meet the Rice demand for not only northern Nigeria but some neighboring countries of West Africa.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Aminu Bello Masari for the numerous support to ensure the emergence and sustenance of enterprises in katsina state.
