A woman who escape from a banditry attack told the correspondent of DW that the bandits were giving them a chase along with her relations when she gave birth. She narrated that she had to use her wrapper to mop up the blood gushing out after child delivery. She narrated that she later rejoin her relations in running for her dear life. The woman is now among the refugees settled at Faskari primary school.
A video recorded by the correspondent of DW now trending on the radio page of DW had shown how children are living pitifully at the refugee camp in Faskari.
As at the time of the correspondent of DW to the camp, he met over thirty pregnant women who delivered in the primary school.
A number of the refugees have spoken on the assistance being rendered to them by political office holders . They particularly mentioned the special Adviser to the Governor on higher education, Dr Bashir Ruwan Godiya, the commissioner of environment, Alhaji Hamza sule Faskari and the Deputy speaker of katsina state house of assembly, Alhaji shehu Dalha Tafoki.
They were however not happy with the Senator representing the zone , which Taskar Labarai has found out that he had not rendered any form of financial or material assistance to the IDPs in the zone. They pointed out that at no time had the Senator sent sympathy message to the IDPs.
A woman now staying in Funtua as a refugee who hails from Sabuwa told a correspondent of the BBC that three of her children were killed by the bandits.

Investigation by Taskar Labarai showed that over 2000 refugees are now in Sabuwa, and are being assisted by politicians with the exception of the Senator representing the zone and without any message of condolence or sympathy to the affected refugees.
At a particular primary school in Dandume where over 2000 people are staying as refugees, politicians from various political parties, wealthy people and political appointees have been assisting within their means without any response from the Senator.
The refugees have been offering special prayers to the sympathizers for their magnanimity.
When contacted , the vice chairman of APC in Funtua Zone Alhaji Bala Abubakar told Taskar Labarai that as far as he is concerned, he is not aware of Senator financial of material contributions to what is currently happening to the IDPs. He said he was neither sent nor aware of anyone sent by the Senator, Alhaji Bello Mandiya.

Bala Abubakar requested the Senator to consider the plight of the IDPs as being done by his predecessor, senator Abu Ibrahim.
Taskar Labarai sought to contact senator Bello Mandiya but could not do so as his phone was off and no reply received from an SMS sent to him.
