Governor Aminu Bello Masari has again re- echoed the directive that no bandit should be left alive in the Forests of the Frontline local governments in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari was speaking during a sympathy and condolence visit to thousands of Internally Displaced Persons- IDPs in Faskari,kadisau, and Dandume.
The Governor explained that the bandits needed to be completely eliminated for peace to return to the land .
He told the gathering that the only language that the bandits understand was firing of AK 47 and therefore they will be treated with the language that they understand.
He assured that the about 4000 IDPs at Faskari primary school and about 800 IDPs in Dandume would continue to receive proper attention and care through provision of adequate food and medicaments throughout their stay in the camps.
Governor Aminu Masari explained that as soon as military and police deployed to dealt with the bandits were able to secure the Forests, they will be return to their houses to continue with farming activities.
He spoke at length on the dastardly action of informants within the communities, stressed that informants too must be fished out to receive the the same punishment with that of the bandits in the Forests.
In a remarks, the chairman of the state Action committee on IDPs and commissioner of sports and Youths Development, Alhaji Sani Danlami informed the Governor that the committee had been up and doing in the feeding and health care needs of the IDPs in the camps at Faskari and Dandume.
He announced that some politicians have also been complementing the state government towards the provision of food items for the IDPs.
While at Faskari, the Head of Administration and Finance, Alhaji Lawal Ibrahim Danmummuni explained that the camp reached its climax after the kadisau killing of 9th of April, this year.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Aminu Bello Masari for the care and attention to the IDPs in the camp.
At Dandume, the Head of Administration and Finance Alhaji Aminu Idris Mashi assured that the IDPs are being treated in line with best international protocols.
Both the Sarkin Yamman Katsina and District head of Faskari, Engineer Aminu Tukur Usman and katikan katsina and District head of Dandume Alhaji Jaafar expressed gratitude to the Governor for the sympathy and condolence visit.
At kadisau, the Governor prayed for the repose of the souls of over 70 people that lost their lives in the attacks by bandits.
