Masari meet Ameachi, express his gratitude over establishment of University in Daura


Governor Aminu Bello Masari has again expressed appreciation to the federal ministry of transport for the provision of a university in Daura.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari was speaking when he received the Minister of transport,Mr Rotimi Amaechi who paid him a courtesy call at government house, Katsina.
The Governor explained that the state government would continue to remain grateful to the Minister for deciding to establish the will be famous University in Daura.
Alhaji Aminu Masari said the present APC administration is aware of the opportunities that comes with education are limitless.
He assured that the state government would do the best it could to make sure that the people are hospitable as is the tradition with people in the state to the university community andthe contractors who are a well known company to the people as they have participated in so many projects in the past.
The Governor reaffirmed the ministry and the company that the government would continue to support and provide whatever is necessary to make the execution of the university project a huge success.
Earlier, the Minister of transport Mr Rotimi Amaechi told Governor Aminu Bello Masari that he had already visited the site of the university project in Daura.
Mr Rotimi Amaechi expressed gratitude to Governor Masari for the provision of the land for the project.
The Minister assured that construction will commence in September, this year.
He revealed that currently the company is clearing and building the fence of the university.
Mr Rotimi Amaechi announced that they have now requested the Chinese company to include a primary and secondary school in the project.
The project,he said is a donation by China Government through the Chinese civil engineering construction company-CCECC.
He said a team from the federal ministry of transport had accepted to do the consultancy on the project.
He thanked the Governor for all the opportunities given to the federal ministry of transport to make the university project a reality.
