With its road networks dilapidated and storm water always flooding its entire environment, thereby making school life extremely difficult, do you know that the Buhari administration has recently come to the rescue of the Federal College of Education in Yola, the Adamawa State capital by reconstructing all its road networks and drainages?

The projects, which were executed through the Ecological Fund Office, were commissioned on the 13th of July 2021, and they include solar-powered street lights that were added to the projects in order to help beautify the school environment and to make movements within the premises comfortable.

As an added advantage to both students and the school’s host community, the construction of the roads and drainages, including the installation of street lights, created some temporary paid jobs plus business opportunities for dealers of building materials, which therefore makes the whole development economically beneficial.
