A presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, Dr. Usman Bugaje has identified security challenges and poor infrastructure as the major impediments to unlocking the country’s economic potentials.
At a meeting with the party’s delegates and other stakeholders at the party’s office in Katsina, Dr. Bugaje said if elected as the party’s flag-bearer for the twenty twenty-three general elections he will pursue a vigorous agenda of security and economic recovery.
He said his party intends to restore sanity in the country’s democracy by doing away with the excessive use of money in the political process.
Dr. Bugaje who opined that both the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress have failed to deliver the country out of the woods, appealed to Nigerians to give the PRP a chance in next year’s general elections.
Dr. Usman Bugaje said if elected as the party’s candidate he will unveil a roadmap on how he could harness the country’s agricultural resources and human capital for sustainable economic development.
He said the country deserves a PRP government that will redistribute its wealth and diversify its revenue sources away from oil.
The meeting which took place at PRP state sectariat IBB way katsina,was attended by All states and local governments party officials elders , and katsina state PRP elected delegates, two PRP governatorial Aspirants in katsina state.
The meetings discussed thoroughly the problem of Nigeria and how PRP planned to save the country,it also deliberated how to built the party as the only option for Nigerian masses.
