Do you know that the Buhari administration has signed a business pact with the government of Czech Republic for the establishment of an Irrigation Equipment Manufacturing Plant in Nigeria and that the project has already commenced?
The project is being handled through the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) alongside Machine Tools company on behalf of Nigeria and SIWATEC Group on behalf of Czech Republic, and the plant is being set up in Abuja.
Primarily, the objective of the Buhari administration is to have all the tools and machinery that will aid our farmers manufactured locally so that their cost will be cheaper and easily accessible. And it is also expected that this machinery plant will provide new jobs for Nigerians.
