The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadia Umar Farouq flagged-off the payments at Mazoji Ward of Daura Emirate where she even supervized a free medical outreach to 500 people who were treated on various ailments.
These payments, which are now being flagged-off all across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, show that the National Social Investment Programme of the Buhari administration has taken roots, and that its sustenance will help in eradicating poverty in the long-run.
