Do you know that on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, the Buhari administration flagged-off the monthly payments of N20,000 each to 9,925 poor people in Kano State?
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr. Nasiru Sani-Gwarzo flagged-off the payments in the city of Kano on behalf of the Minister. And of great significance is that 15% of the beneficiaries must be persons with disabilities.
These ongoing payments across the country simply show that the National Social Investment Programme of the Buhari administration has taken roots, and that its steady implementation will help vulnerable people in our midst to establish meaningful lives for themselves.
