While military onslaught against bandits has continued to intensify more than ever before, do you know that the Buhari administration has just distributed various relief items to 2,400 IDPs in Zamfara State?
The items, which include thousands of bags of rice, corn, beans, cooking oil, cartons of noodles, mattresses, blankets, mats, mosquito nets, toiletries and clothing materials were distributed on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadia Umar Farouq.
After the distribution, the Minister also conducted a free medical outreach to 1,000 IDPs, which involves eye care and surgery to about 500 of them. Thereafter, she assured them that they will soon be rehabilitated in their homes because the administration has secured more military equipment to crush the violent groups troubling the State.
