To expand its scope of financial assistance to small-scale traders and farmers across the country, do you know that the Buhari administration has rolled out the Phase II of its Government Enterprise Empowerment Programme (GEEP 2.0)?
The GEEP 2.0 was officially rolled out by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadia Umar Farouq at Kasuwar Kofar Yan Kudu market in Daura, Katsina State on the 4th of September 2022 with presentation of cheques to 13, 000 verified beneficiaries.
Under the GEEP 2.0, under-privileged youths within the age bracket of 18 – 40 years will receive Tradermoni loan of N50,000 while under-privileged women like widows and other vulnerable ones will also receive MarketMoni loan of N50,000. FarmerMoni loan of up to N300,000 goes to small-scale farmers. This goes on across the country.
