Meet Bello Sambo from Katsina State, a first-class scholar of Electrical Engineering, who made history by becoming the first Nigerian to hold a Railway Research PhD in 21st century.
His research focuses on improving the safety and efficiency of railway systems in Nigeria and beyond. Bello’s work has been so impressive that Huddersfield had to retain him for global projects.
He was also awarded the Queen’s Prize and Innovation Prize for his outstanding contributions to the field of railway research.
